A leading healthcare provider in Portland is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to assist in the care and treatment of patients with retinal conditions. The ideal candidate will perform patient screenings, assist Ophthalmologists, and uphold high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
Ophthalmic Technician (Healthcare)

Ophthalmic Technician Overview:
Retina Northwest Ophthalmic Technicians are responsible for assisting in the care, treatment, and education for ophthalmology patients. Ophthalmic Technicians conduct patient screening, patient communication & education, obtain patient history, document in EHR, maintain patient confidentiality, and maintain exam rooms and inventory. Ophthalmic Technicians assist our Ophthalmologists in preparing patients for examination, performing diagnostic testing, ocular measurements, visual acuity, color vision, stereopsis, and intraocular pressures as directed by a physician. Ophthalmic Technicians provide staffing coverage at clinics located in Oregon and Washington.
