Job summary

Wolfe Eye Clinic is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team full-time. You will work closely with ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive patient care, performing histories, workups, and diagnostic tests while traveling as required.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with retinoscopy, refraction, A-scan, keratometry, tonometry, and OCT/VF testing. We offer full-time benefits including health, dental, 401K, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience as an ophthalmic technician is required.
• Must be able to perform patient workups and diagnostic testing.
• Skilled in retinoscopy, refraction, A-scan, keratometry, tonometry, and OCT/VF testing.

Responsibilities

• Travel to base clinic as needed; travel time and mileage reimbursed.

Candidates should be ready to work both independently and as a member of a team, accept responsibility for assigned patient care and be able to perform responsibilities in a friendly and efficient manner.Responsibilities include:-Taking patient medical and ocular histories-Performing patient workups-Diagnostic testingExperience is required.Ideal candidates would be skilled in:-Retinoscopy-Manual refraction-Applanation A-scan-Manual keratometry-Tonometry-Performing OCT and VF testingDaytime travel required.
