Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking an on-site Ophthalmology Assistant in Menomonee Falls, WI. This 0.8 FTE (32 hours) position supports a busy ophthalmology clinic, assisting the provider with exams, procedures, and daily operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, coordinating patient flow, and participating in staff education. A high school diploma is required, plus 18 months of ophthalmology experience and BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 18 months of optometry or ophthalmology experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform ocular examinations and procedures assisting the provider with patient care.
• Maintain accurate records for the department.
• Coordinate the timely flow of patients through the physician's schedule.
• Assist in educational and technical training sessions for other staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
