Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Lead Ophthalmic Tech to join our eye care team at the Menomonee Falls location. The role supports the Eye team with examinations, patient care, and department operations, on-site Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with potential travel as needed.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of Ophthalmic/Optometric tech experience, high school diploma, and licensure within 6 months; strong EMR skills and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Ophthalmic/Optometric Tech or Specialist experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in Ophthalmic field within 6 months of hire.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Proficiency with EMR usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform ocular examinations and procedures and support the Eye team.
• Assist the provider with patient care and daily department operations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assist in staff training and determine staffing requirements.
