Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners in Las Vegas is seeking an Ophthalmic Scribe to support ophthalmologists and optometrists with real-time documentation during patient visits. You will capture medical history, chief complaints, exam findings and treatment plans in the EHR with high accuracy.

Responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, ensuring data integrity, and adhering to HIPAA guidelines while collaborating with clinicians to transcribe and enter information efficiently.

Qualifications

• Medical scribe training or experience preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with EMR/software and practice management systems.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification by IJCAHPO preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Document patients accurately and efficiently in electronic health records.
• Transcribe and enter information via verbal or written communication.
• Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
