Job summary

MidWest Eye Center is hiring an Ophthalmic Technician to support a high-volume ophthalmic practice serving patients in Florence, Crestview Hills, and Anderson (OH). The role emphasizes compassionate eye care and accuracy in patient history, visual acuity, and automated refraction.

You will assist in eye drop administration, EMR data entry, and instrument maintenance. The position requires strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, plus willingness to travel between offices

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• The ability to seek instruction in areas where he/she is not knowledgeable.
• The ability to recognize inconsistencies.
• Dependable transportation required to travel to other offices as required.
• Must be flexible with traveling to various locations.

Position Summary

We are now hiring for an Ophthalmic technician that will support a high-volume ophthalmic practice that focuses on providing quality and compassionate care to each patient needing complete eye care services.

The position will work from Florence, Crestview Hills and Anderson (OH).

Responsibilities

This position requires customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a degree of independent decision-making.

Ophthalmic skills include:
