Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Overland Park area is seeking an Associate Technician to support the production department, ensuring productivity and quality standards. You will perform equipment calibration, assist with training, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The role emphasizes following work instructions, communicating issues to Supervisors, and supporting management decisions while adhering to company policies. This position requires a High School diploma and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Ability to prioritize, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunches.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and motivates others to follow work instructions.
• Completes equipment calibration and setup; reports maintenance issues to Supervisor.
• Identifies quality, process, and workflow problems; informs Supervisor of issues.
• Participates in training of Associates; mentors new hires and cross-trains staff.
• Communicates with Supervisor; participates in team meetings and provides input on facility issues.
• Maintains a positive attitude and treats all associates with respect.
• Supports management decisions; assists Team Leader and Supervisor in duties.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area; notifies Supervisor of safety/health issues.
• Follows safety requirements and provides feedback as needed.
• Keeps to company policies.
