Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Norton Shores, MI is seeking an Ophthalmic Photographer to support ophthalmologists by capturing high-quality diagnostic images and preparing patients for examinations. The role requires conducting retinal photography, OCT and other imaging, while ensuring accurate documentation and patient comfort.

Responsibilities include operating EMR systems, assisting physicians, maintaining equipment, and traveling to affiliated locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification preferred.
• Must pass background check.
• U.S. work authorization required.
• Strong photography skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform color stereo Retinal Fundus photography and IVFA techniques, including IV start and dye administration.
• External ocular photography and OCT testing with speed and accuracy; assist Physicians as needed.
• Scribe for Physicians if needed and document in EMR.
• Review patient medical/ophthalmic history and medications.
• Maintain equipment, rooms, and supply inventories; ensure cleanliness and readiness.
