Job summary

Sight360 is seeking a qualified Surgery Scrub Technician to join our operative team. The role focuses on scrub duties, preparation of unsterile equipment, and assisting in the sterile workflow of cataract and other ophthalmic procedures.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of ophthalmic scrub experience, CPR certification, and preferably a Certified Surgical Technologist. You will help maintain a safe, clean OR environment and support ongoing performance improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Ophthalmic Surgery Scrub Technician.
• CPR certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub technician in the operating room.
• Assist gowning and gloving of surgical team.
• Prepare operating room for procedures.
• Assist with skin prep and draping.
• Handle sterile and unsterile supplies and equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique.
• Participate in sponge, instrument, and needle counts as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service programs.
