Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care across pre-operative, circulating, and post-operative (PACU) phases of ophthalmic procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including pre-op assessments, verifying surgical site and documentation, and administering prescribed medications.
• Serve as a circulating nurse during surgical procedures, maintaining sterile fields, anticipating surgeon needs, and ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor and manage patient recovery post-surgery, providing post-operative instructions to patients and their escorts.
• Maintain accurate EMR and ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, infection control, and ASC regulatory standards.
