Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas upon start date.
• BLS and ACLS required upon start.
• Circulating experience preferred.
• ASC and leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and revises the patient care plan in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
• Documents all patient care activities and ensures chart accuracy.
• Maintains sterile technique and OR safety protocols during intra-operative and post-operative care.
• Assists with pre-op and post-anesthesia care, including patient transfer and report communication.
• Cleans and prepares the OR between cases and supports room turnover for the next case.
