Job summary

Luxottica, a global leader in ophthalmic products, is seeking an Associate Technician at our Ohio manufacturing site. You will support the production team to meet productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include following work instructions, calibrating equipment, identifying issues, training associates, communicating with supervisors, maintaining a safe, clean work area, and upholding all safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Ability to prioritize, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Reliability in attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and motivates others to follow the work instructions.
• Completes equipment calibration and setup; communicates any maintenance issues to Supervisor.
• Identifies quality, process, and workflow problems; informs Supervisor of issues.
• Participates in training of Associates; mentors new hires and cross-trains staff.
• Communicates with Supervisor; participates in meetings and provides input on facility issues.
• Maintains a positive attitude; treats associates with respect and dignity; reports issues to Supervisor.
• Supports management decisions and assists Team Leader and Supervisor in duties.
• Keeps a clean, safe work area; notifies Supervisor of safety/health issues.
• Supports and monitors safety requirements with immediate feedback when needed.
• Maintains adherence to company policies.
