Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years photography experience or 2 years experience working as an Ophthalmic Technician.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Two year training in photography or medical/biomedical photography or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Responsibilities

• Operates cameras and performs ophthalmic imaging to assist physicians.
• Documents, tracks, and treats eye disease with imaging procedures.
• Assists with testing such as OCT Cirrus/Spectralis, IOL measurements, corneal topography, retinal photos, angiography, and slit lamp photography.
