Sight360 is seeking an Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technician to perform diagnostic testing including fundus photos, OCTs, color vision, pachymetry, and visual fields. The role may support Ophthalmologists and Optometrists with patient workups and eye medications; travel between clinic locations may be required as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, accurate data entry into EMR systems, and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimal of one year in Ophthalmology.
• Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Open and close diagnostic area, maintain equipment and rooms.
• Perform tests per physician orders.
• Perform visual field testing: Humphrey.
• Perform OCT testing: Heidelberg and Cirrus.
• Fundus Photography.
• External Photography.
• Corneal Topography: Atlas and Pentacam.
• Transfer test results into EMRs accurately and timely.
• Update patient records in EMS or related system.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations.

Position Summary

The Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic testing on patients such as fundus photography, OCTs, color vision testing, pachymetry, visual fields. This position may also be responsible for assisting Ophthalmologists and Optometrists by performing ophthalmic clinical functions as necessary including patient work ups and administering eye medications. Travel between clinic locations and/or overtime may be required based on operational needs.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Responsible for opening and closing diagnostic area, maintaining equipment and rooms in working conditions.
• Performing test based on a physician's orders.
• Perform visual field testing: Humphrey
• Perform OCT testing: Heidelberg and Cirrus
• Fundus Photography
• External Photography
• Corneal Topography: Atlas and Pentacam
• Timely, accurately and efficient transferring test results into electronic medical records.
• Update patient records using high level of proficiency within the EMS or other related system.
• Comply with all HIPPA regulations in all interactions with patient information

Requirements
