Job summary

Mittleman Eye Center seeks a Clinical Technician to join our ophthalmology team in West Palm Beach, FL. You will perform technical ophthalmologic duties, conduct tests, and prepare patients for exams with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include taking histories, entering data, assisting with procedures, measuring eye pressure and visual acuity, and supporting patients with medications while upholding high standards of care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with healthcare experience or COA certification is acceptable.
• Proficiency with MS Office and clinical software required.
• Strong organization and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories of patients and prepare them for exams.
• Perform diagnostic testing and enter data into the electronic record system.
• Assist with ophthalmic procedures and patient education on medications.
• Manage multiple tasks and meet weekly/monthly targets.
• Distribute patient medications and support the eye care team.
