Job summary

Michigan Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Coord Assoc to work onsite at the Kellogg Eye Center in Ann Arbor, coordinating moderate to complex clinical studies and managing IRB applications, recruitment, and data collection, including vision assessments, imaging, and surveys.

The role includes data handling per study protocols, safety monitoring, and collaboration with clinical decision support teams to ensure consistent system standards. Hybrid work may be available.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in human subjects research protocols, GCP, and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of IRB application process relevant to clinical research in academic medicine.
• At least 1 year of experience in direct clinical research participant interaction.

Responsibilities

• Collects and maintains patient data for clinical research projects.
• Screens and oversees recruitment of study participants.
• Coordinates scheduling of experiments, procedures, and visits.
• Manages data collection, processing, and analysis in line with study protocols.
• Monitors subjects for safety and compliance.
• Completes IRB applications and associated documentation with PI support.
• Collaborate with clinical decision support teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent system standards.
