Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• OA1 OAII experience: 0-2 years OA experience; 2+ years OA experience.

Responsibilities

• Review patient charts for completeness and accuracy.
• Record ocular and systemic history and visual acuity.
• Perform testing (OCT, visual fields, photography, pachymetry, biometry).
• Conduct slit lamp exam with tonometry and anterior chamber assessment.
• Assist physician and enter data into EMR or paper charts.
• Administer topical ophthalmic medications and support informed consent.
