Job summary

The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. seeks an ophthalmic assistant to support high-quality patient care in our ophthalmology clinic. The role emphasizes accurate imaging, materials processing, and compassionate communication with diverse patients.

Responsibilities include performing Visual Fields and Imaging with precision, maintaining exam workflows, and collaborating with clinicians to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Prior ophthalmic exposure and EMR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in an Ophthalmic Clinic setting.
  • Knowledge of Ophthalmic terminology and testing.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication.
  • Preference for knowledge of Electronic Medical Records.
