Charlotte Eye Ear Nose And Throat Associates Pa in Charlotte, NC is seeking a compassionate Ophthalmic Assistant to support Providers in delivering high‑quality patient care. You’ll perform clinical testing, assist with exams and procedures, and help keep our ophthalmic clinics running smoothly.

You’ll greet patients, obtain history, document in the EHR, complete ophthalmic workups, assist with in‑office procedures, schedule services, and travel to other CEENTA locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in Ophthalmology or Optometry preferred.
• ICA-accredited training or IJCAHPO/AAO independent study program preferred.
• COA or COT certification preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and perform patient intake including vision history and chief complaints.
• Obtain and document medical history, chief complaint, HPI, vital signs, medications, and allergies in the EHR.
• Perform ophthalmic testing and complete basic workups; assist with exams and in-office procedures.
• Scribe when needed and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic flow; travel to other CEENTA locations as required.
