Qualifications

  • Knowledge of standard medical abbreviations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic ocular function tests and evaluate pupils to assist the Ophthalmologist.
  • Assist physician with minor surgical procedures, including room set‑up.
  • Administer eye and oral medications as directed.
  • Change dressings and instruct patients and/or parents of in‑home care.
