Job summary

Eye Care Center of Virginia PC is seeking a Certified Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. You will conduct initial patient assessments, obtain medical history, and measure intraocular pressures, refractions, and visual acuities, among other tasks.

You will assist with in-office procedures, educate patients on eye health, and maintain an organized, clean work environment. Technicians rotate across our West End Henrico, Mechanicsville, and North Chesterfield locations to support doctors and

• Previous customer service experience desired.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Ophthalmic Technician to join our team! As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will be responsible for conducting the initial assessment of a patient, including listening to their complaints or concerns, obtaining a relevant medical history, and measuring intraocular pressures, refraction, visual acuities, and more. You will also assist as needed with procedures done by the doctor in-office, help educate patients on eye health and best practices, and maintain an organized, clean work environment at all times. Our Technicians float around to all three locations of Eye Care Center of Virginia- West End of Henrico, Mechanicsville, and North Chesterfield. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, is extremely organized, and works well with others as a team.
