Responsibilities

  • Gather and record patients' chief complaints while capturing a thorough ocular and medical history, ensuring a smooth start to their care journey.
  • Guide patients through their tests, explaining the purpose of each procedure and what to expect, so they feel informed and at ease.
  • Administer eye drops and medications as prescribed, playing a key role in preparing patients for their provider's care.
  • Perform precise and consistent documentation of key measurements and tests using a variety of tools and machines, including Visual Acuity, ARK, Lensometry, Visual Fields, OCT, IOL Master/A-scan, and more.
  • Support efficient patient flow, seeing patients promptly and stepping in to assist other clinic areas when needed, contributing to seamless operations.
  • Maintain a clean and stocked clinic, ensuring every area is ready for patient care and up to the highest standards.
  • Monitor and report equipment issues to the Clinical Manager, ensuring tools remain in top condition for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Adapt to new technologies, taking on additional tasks specific to your provider's needs as advancements arise, making you a key player in innovative eye care.
