Your responsibilities will include:Patient Work-Up: Conduct basic patient assessments, including visual acuity tests, intraocular pressure measurements, and dilation.Testing and Evaluation: Perform a range of tests such as confrontation visual fields, cover testing, and versions, and assist in manifest refractions.Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, explain testing procedures, answer questions, and provide necessary education.Team Collaboration: Work closely with our clinical support team and providers to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by recognizing and addressing common safety hazards.Documentation: Utilize our EMR system to accurately record patient data and ensure it’s ready for provider review.Education: High school diploma is required; some college or a degree is preferred.
