Northwest Eye Surgeons is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide specialized nursing care in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will support patients throughout their surgical experience, delivering safe, high-quality care under physician orders and facility policies.

Ideal candidates have a WA LPN license, current BLS/AED, and at least some OR or ASC experience. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, ensure sterile technique, educate patients, and maintain accurate medical

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted Washington State LPN license.
• Current BLS/AED certification.
• One year of operating room or ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare, admit, monitor, and discharge patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Conduct preoperative and postoperative patient calls and reinforce care instructions.
• Assess and document patient histories, vital signs, and clinical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within scope of practice.
• Assist with intraoperative responsibilities as needed and permitted by scope of practice.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, medications, and postoperative care.
• Maintain knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, operating room setup, and ophthalmic procedures.
• Follow established standards for sterile technique, infection prevention, instrument processing, and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, WISHA, and organizational policies.
• Complete required training and continuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
