Job summary

Standard Bent Glass is a maker of architectural, decorative, security, transportation, and defense glass products based in East Butler, PA. We are seeking Production Operators for 1st shift to operate manufacturing equipment, prepare materials, and help ensure quality across the line.

You will follow established procedures, document production steps, and support safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills and advancing with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with production equipment according to procedures.
• Prepare and handle glass and materials for production.
• Follow work instructions and production specifications.
• Monitor products to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Inspect finished and in-process products for defects.
• Safely handle and position glass and materials.
• Report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to meet goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Production Operator

Full-Time | 1st Shift

Standard Bent Glass is looking for Production Operators to join our manufacturing team. We currently have 1st shift opportunities available as an Eastman Cutting operator . This is a hands-on manufacturing position for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and assist with production equipment according to established procedures.
• Prepare and handle glass and materials for production.
• Follow work instructions, production specifications, and established processes.
• Monitor products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Inspect finished and in-process products for defects or quality concerns.
• Safely handle and position glass and materials.
• Monitor equipment and communicate any problems or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work with Production and Quality teams to meet production and quality goals.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, production, glass, or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required .
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to learn equipment, processes, and production procedures.

Pay & Schedule

Starting Pay: $19.00/hour
