Job summary

TPC Group is seeking Operator Technicians for their Port Neches facility in Texas. This position involves managing daily operations in the assigned unit, troubleshooting issues, and participating in the Fire Brigade/Emergency Response Team.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with 3+ years of operator experience in petrochemical manufacturing. The role demands strong safety awareness and teamwork, along with the ability to complete Emergency Response training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years operator experience in a petrochemical manufacturing facility.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Capable of completing Emergency Response Team Training.

Job description

This position will be responsible for daily operations in the assigned unit, including troubleshooting and resolving operations issues. Participation on the Fire Brigade / Emergency Response Team is required. Operator Technicians are expected to know/learn the mechanical workings of pumps, piping systems, and operating requirements for Terminal operations.

Required Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years operator experience in a petrochemical manufacturing facility.
• An associate degree in Process Technology or Process Technology Certification
• Military Experience
• Must be able to wear a respirator and are expected to complete Emergency Response Team Training.
