Southwire Company is seeking an entry-level Take Up 2 operator to set up and run coiler/spooler equipment, including Skaltec Coilers and Takeups. Location: SCUPP; Shift: 6:50 PM - 7:00 AM; Pay Rate: $22.68–$24.11 per hour.
The role requires reading and writing in English, with bilingual Spanish a plus, and physical capability to lift up to 45 lbs. Responsibilities include assisting operators, changing reels, labeling reels, and performing minor machine adjustments.

The Take Up 2 is an entry level role that will set up and operate coiler/spoolers. Example machines include Skaltec Coiler, Windak, and a Skaltec Takeup (BWP), Skaltec and CV Line (North Campus).

Shift: 6:50 PM - 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $22.68–$24.11
Will be required to cross‑train one equipment within your identified workgroup at your facility; once trained in more complex jobs, may be required to fill the position in the event of absence or vacancy; will be required to rotate on a set frequency within your workgroup to maintain skill proficiency.
