Job description

Overview

The operator will work in an Electronics Manufacturing environment. The SMD operator will run the automated Pick & Place SMD line including inspection systems with few manual operations. The operator will also be trained and used for other assembly, testing, warehouse receiving and packing purposes as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Run the Pick and Place SMD line.
  • Load the right components and follow the instructions to produce quality products.
  • Act immediately if there are quality issues. Work with QA and Prod Manager to find a solution.
  • Maintain machine efficiency by avoiding downtime and improving changeover processes.
  • Work toward meeting the cycle time of production and collaborate with the Production Manager to improve it.
  • Follow safety norms and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Troubleshoot basic errors generated by the machine with training support from ETK.
Qualifications
  • Competence in Electronics Manufacturing (EMS); prior SMD line experience preferred. Otherwise, knowledge and experience to operate the machine interface.
  • Willingness to learn and work in other production areas such as testing, assembly, warehouse (receiving and picking) and packing.
  • English communication required; ability to understand work instructions.
  • Dedicated, results-oriented, committed; team-oriented mindset.
