A leading electronics manufacturing company in Strongsville seeks an SMD operator to run the automated Pick & Place line. The operator will ensure quality production, work closely with the Quality Assurance and Production Management teams, and be involved in various production areas, including assembly and testing. Ideal candidates are dedicated, team-oriented, and have experience in electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience in SMD lines is preferred; otherwise, knowledge of machine interface is needed.
• Willingness to learn and work in testing, assembly, and warehouse areas.
• Ability to understand work instructions in English.

Job description

Job Overview

The operator will work in an Electronics Manufacturing. The SMD operator will run the automated Pick & Place SMD line including inspection systems with few manual operations. The operator will also be trained and used for the other assembly, testing, warehouse receiving and packing purposes on need basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the Pick and Place SMD line.
• Load the right components and follow the instructions to get quality products.
• Act immediately if there are any quality issues. Work with QA and Prod Manager to find a solution.
• Maintain efficiency level of the machine by avoiding downtime & improving change over process.
• Work towards meeting the cycle time of production and working with the production manager to improve the same.
• Follow the safety norms and ensure safe work environment practices.
• Troubleshoot basic errors generated by the machine with the support of training by ETK.

Qualifications & Skills

• Competence in Electronics Manufacturing (EMS), preferred to have worked in SMD lines in earlier experience. Otherwise, a knowledge and experience to handle machine interface.
• Willingness to learn and work in other areas of production like testing, assembly, warehouse (receiving and picking) and packing.
• Communication in English is required and have knowledge to understand the work instructions.
• Dedicated, result oriented, committed, Team working mindset.
