Job summary

A Texas-based construction company is seeking a Scraper Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in the construction industry and a High School Diploma or GED. Responsibilities include operating scrapers, performing maintenance, and adhering to safety protocols on job sites. This role requires the ability to meet physical demands and is available Monday through Saturday, 5am to 6pm. Benefits include 401(k), LTD coverage, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform other job site duties as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate scrapers to move earth, gravel, and other materials on construction sites
• Perform routine maintenance on scrapers
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Perform any other duties related to the job site
• Regular attendance required
• Will travel and must supply own transportation

• 3+ years of experience within the construction industry
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information
• Must be able to follow directions
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds
• Must be available for work 5am – 6pm Monday through Saturdays
• Exposure to machines, chemicals, and high noise level during duties
