Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Reactions Operator. As a Reactions Operator, you will play a crucial role in our flavor manufacturing process working closely with USDA. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring reaction equipment to ensure the precise execution of chemical reactions and the production of high‑quality flavor compounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate reaction equipment according to standard operating procedures to initiate and control chemical reactions.
  • Monitor reaction parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates, to ensure adherence to specifications and safety protocols.
  • Conduct quality checks on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to maintain product integrity and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor maintenance tasks as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation to comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in chemical processing or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in chemical manufacturing or a similar production environment; experience with reaction equipment and processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions and procedures.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
