Position: Plant Operator 2nd Shift

Location: Sacramento, CA
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 2pm - 10:30pm
Note: AIRGAS is a drug-free workplace.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely handle and fill gas products into cylinders, complying with regulations and SOPs.
• Inspect cylinders, perform safety checks, and analyze product purity.
• Handle high-pressure, medical, and cryogenic cylinders, preparing and filling them accurately.
• Assist with loading/unloading cylinders, operate warehouse equipment.
• Manage paperwork in accordance with DOT, FDA, OSHA, and company standards.
• Understand hazards, interpret labels, and label cylinders correctly.
• Maintain safety standards and a clean plant environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of related manufacturing or filling experience; gas industry experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and obtain necessary certifications.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong communication and safety knowledge.
• Ability to work independently, with attention to detail.
• Mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
