Job summary

Flint Group is seeking a Production Operator in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to support ink production in a safety-first environment. You will receive raw materials, run batch production, re-pack materials, and help maintain inventory accuracy under the supervision of the Production Supervisor.

The role requires the ability to stand most of the day and perform physically demanding tasks, with forklift experience and basic computer skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math and mechanical aptitude.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is expected.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload.
• SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce inks and intermediates by following SOPs.
• Locate and verify materials listed on production orders.
• Handle preparation, reaction, and storage using common equipment.
• Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and waste.
• Perform batch processing, data recording, and equipment cleaning.
• Package finished products and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Support other production areas as needed.

Flint Group is actively seeking individuals with strong work ethic and positive attitudes to join our Production Team. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in our safety-first environment, executing various tasks to ensure the safe and on-time production of inks. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be involved in receiving raw materials, ink batch production, re-packing materials, and contributing to maintaining an accurate inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce a variety of inks and ink intermediates by following standard operating procedures.
• Locate and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Carry out tasks in the preparation, reaction, and storage of various products using mixers, pumps, filters, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Handle a variety of chemicals and chemical waste products, adhering to safety protocols.
• Batch processing, including changing material, processing batch, monitoring and recording data, loading/unloading, and cleaning equipment.
• Package products, maintain a safe work area, and assist in other production areas as needed.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related result

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for 90% of the day.
• Capable of executing strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work (lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds).
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Skills
