Job summary

Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. in Twin Falls, ID is seeking an Operator Processing for the Nights shift. This role operates and adjusts line equipment, monitors quality and waste, and performs shift-start routines under supervision.

Requires safety training, PPE usage, and ability to read production paperwork. Responsibilities include sampling and adjusting process parameters on the blancher and fryer, maintaining a clean workspace, and reporting any issues to the line lead.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and adjust all process equipment for the chop/ formed line and monitor line flow and waste.
  • Perform safety checks, put on PPE, and ensure safety devices function properly.
  • Take oil, blancher and finished product samples to lab and monitor the blancher and fryer.
  • Maintain clean work area, complete paperwork, and assist with general housekeeping as needed.

Position is for C Shift - Nights.Job Descriptionbtain work schedule and daily production paperwork, report to the assigned line, complete walk through and prepare for operations.Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear and perform a safety check on equipment to be used in daily operations and ensure that all safety devices are functioning properly.Check schedule, work orders and bulk product inventory, take oil, blancher and finished product samples to lab as required.Monitor the blancher and fryer, complete walk through, take samples, make adjustments, check drains and magnets as required.Manually dump and / or scoop ingredients and condiments into hoppers according to recipe and pump oil from fryer as required.Keep the work area clear and clean, hose down area, sweep / shovel up spills, empty trash and replace liners.At end of shift, secure all equipment, complete all required paperwork, perform general housekeeping and wet clean-up as required.Performs other duties as assigned.Basic & Preferred QualificationsEducation/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredLock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.Skills and Experience:Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirement may vary by location).Experience driving forklift in warehouse or manufacturing establishment preferred.Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility.Ability to perform basic math functions, required.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer operation knowledge, data entry skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.Physical Environment/Demands:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperatureExposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergiesAbility to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.
