Description

• Safely sets up, operates, and monitors press machinery and equipment to meet customer and production goals.
• Completes press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe protocols to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
• Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work-in-progress regulations.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance to keep machinery operating efficiently.
• Trains and guides machine assistants and new crew members.
• Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized, meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness standards.
• Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures, wears appropriate PPE, and reports safety hazards or concerns.
• Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
• Collaborates effectively with other departments or team members, such as technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address issues.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
