Job summary

Select Water Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Mud Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient operation of heavy equipment and to maintain quality and regulatory compliance at the disposal area. You will monitor levels, manage lines and valves, and document tickets to support disposal activities.

The role requires experience with excavators and heavy machinery, ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends, and a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and adherence to environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable means of transportation to work site.

Responsibilities

• Overall maintenance, upkeep and appearance of disposal area.
• Monitor pit levels and silo level.
• Retrieve oil from working pit/tanks.
• Unload lines, discharge and relieve valves or other equipment related to disposal of fluids.
• Generate and document third-party tickets and other forms of documentation in support of disposal.
• Meet compliance requirements with county, state, and federal regulatory rules and regulations.
• Ensure smooth transition from day to night attendants: communicate current status and potential issues prior to end of shift.
• Attend company meetings as requested.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Improve utilization efficiently, driver compliance.
• Ensure immediate work area is neat and orderly to ensure safety of workers.
• Report and correct unsafe conditions of practices.

Job Description

Select’s Mud Plant Operator is responsible for assuring safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment. Maintain quality control and assure complete compliance with all federal, state, and local laws governing environmental compliance, worker safety and underground injection well regulations.

Compensation Information

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Physical Demands and Exposures

• Work is always performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.

• Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
