Chemours is seeking an Operator/Mechanic to join the Thermal & Specialized Solutions team at our El Dorado, AR location. The role monitors and operates equipment, performs minor maintenance, and adheres to safety procedures while supporting production targets in a high-hazard process.

The position requires a high school diploma, 0–3 years of related experience, and willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and PPE.

This position will report directly to the Production Front Line Supervisor at our location in El Dorado, AR .The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor and operate equipment and facilities while ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures. The Operator/Mechanic performs minor maintenance functions within their operating area and within their level of training and expertise. The Operator/Mechanic maintains safety standards at all times and initiates and follows emergency procedures when necessary. The Operator/Mechanic rotates through various roles within the area, including control room rotation. This position is part of a high hazard operation and works a rotating 12-hour shift.
