Job summary

BARNES AEROSPACE is seeking an experienced shop/production professional to operate CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser equipment and verify all parts meet specifications in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reading calipers and micrometers, completing quality paperwork, and assembling components with attention to customer order details and dimensional accuracy.

Qualifications

• Able to use basic math to add, subtract, multiply or divide and may work with fractions, decimals or percentages.
• Able to follow simple instructions or directions.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing as to work requirements, work in progress or work completion.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

• Checks paperwork to determine required assembly and any special options.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies, per customer order.
