Job summary

Danfoss GmbH in Mountain Home, AR is seeking an Operator Level I (Wire Wind) for the 2nd shift to operate wire winders and apply hose wire to braider bobbins. This on-site role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and productivity within a continuous manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will perform setup, routine inspections, and basic adjustments to ensure proper tension and routing, while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and collaborating across shifts to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external personnel.

Responsibilities

• Operate wire winders for applying hose wire to braider bobbins.
• Clean and lubricate bobbin cart wheels; perform daily inspections.
• Set wire guide beams and rollers; check the wire oiler.
• Verify and adjust tension settings.
• Check wire cards on each machine at start of shift; select correct bobbin type.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist other operators and cross-train for flexibility.
• Follow safety and quality guidelines.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

The Impact You'll Make

The prmiary function of this position is to operate the wire winders for applying hose wire to braider bobbins.

This is a 2nd Shift position; Monday through Friday, 2:45 pm to 11:00 pm.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform necessary service functions for Wire Wind Operator
• Clean and lube the bobbin cart wheels when needed and perform all daily inspections, lubricating all lube points
• Setting the wire guide beaks and rollers correctly and checkingthe wire oiler periodically
• Verify and adjust tension settings
• Check wire cards on each machine at start of shiftuse the correct bobbin type
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Assist other operators when possible, and cross train for flexibility
• Work within all safety and quality guidelines
• Perform other duties as necessary
