Job summary

ProAmpac, a leading packaging solutions provider in Neenah, Wisconsin, is seeking a Lamination Operator to join our operations team. You will safely set up, operate, and monitor lamination equipment to meet production goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities include preparing machine setups, loading materials, calibrating settings, inspecting outputs, and collaborating with technicians and supervisors to resolve any issues.

Qualifications

  • HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred.
  • 2-4 years' related field experience required.
  • This position has no leadership duties.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations).
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor lamination machinery to meet production goals.
  • Complete machine setup for production runs, load materials, adjust settings, and calibrate equipment.
  • Monitor production, inspect materials and equipment to ensure quality and quotas.
  • Verify and track materials for inventory and WIP.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
  • Train and guide machine assistants and new crew members.
  • Keep machinery and surroundings organized per housekeeping standards.
  • Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE, report hazards.
  • Complete all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production and address issues.

Description
Essential Duties and Tasks
  • Safely sets up, operates, and monitors lamination machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
  • Completes lamination machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
  • Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
  • Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
  • Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
  • Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment(PPE) as required by safety policies and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
  • Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
  • Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to cooordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
  • HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred
  • 2-4 years' experience in a related field experience in a related field required.
  • This position has no leadership duties.

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
