Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking an Operator in Baytown, TX to safely load, secure, and transport cargo and to perform pre-, during-, and post-trip inspections. You will maintain logs and work with a team to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma, a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement, and experience operating 70 Barrel Vacuum, Super Sucker/Airmover, and Hydro Excavation trucks. Strong communication and physical stamina are required.

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement required.
• Experience operating 70 Barrel Vacuum, Super Sucker/Airmover, Hydro Excavation trucks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors.
• Overtime, weekend work, and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, and transport cargo in compliance with safety and transportation regulations.
• Conduct pre-, en-, and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Complete and maintain required logs, manifests, and bills of lading.
• Maneuver trucks for loading and unloading, report defects promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Train others and perform additional duties as assigned.

• Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs and work both indoors and outdoors.
• Availability for overtime, weekend work, and an on-call schedule.
