This hands-on role involves routine servicing, equipment cleaning, grounds upkeep, and material handling outdoors and indoors to keep the plant running safely. You will lift up to 50 lbs, inspect equipment, follow safety protocols, and maintain accurate records.

Formación

• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required for certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, reach and work at varying heights.
• PPE will be provided; safe work practices are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine servicing and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.

Valid driver's license with a clean MVR required. We're looking for a dependable Utility Worker to support operations and maintenance at a water/wastewater treatment facility. You'll perform routine servicing, equipment cleaning, grounds upkeep, and material handling — working both indoors and outdoors to keep the facility running safely and efficiently. This is a hands‑on, physical role for someone with a strong work ethic and a safety‑first mindset.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

What you’ll do

• Perform routine servicing and corrective maintenance of water and wastewater systems
• Clean vehicles, heavy equipment, barscreens, comminutors, weirs, drying beds, digesters, pumps, and other stationary and portable equipment
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections; complete minor maintenance such as oil changes and greasing
• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment to load, unload, haul, and spread sand, gravel, dirt, and waste products; dig and refill ditches and trenches
• Maintain grounds and buildings — cut grass, trim trees and bushes, rake debris, and care for lawns and ornamental plantings
• Carry and supply materials, tools, and supplies to support operations and maintenance personnel
• Maintain accurate records of materials hauled by private contractors or applied to agricultural lands
• Follow oral and written directions and maintain cooperative working relationships

What you need

• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
• High school diploma or GED (required for certifications)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry a 50 lb tool box, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout an 8-hour shift
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work at varying heights and depths
• Comfort working in environments with noise, active machinery, confined spaces, fumes, and chemicals — all required PPE will be provided
