Job summary

Electrolux Consumer Products, Inc. is seeking an Operations Trainer for our Springfield, TN plant.

This role will prepare new and existing employees to work safely and efficiently on the production floor through classroom, simulations, and hands-on learning, ensuring high quality performance. You will deliver EHS&S training per OSHA and ISO standards, recruit and certify employees on PIV, cranes, and aerial lifts, and maintain comprehensive training records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort speaking in front of groups.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.

Where you’ll be: This position will be based at our plant in Springfield, TN.

About the Role:

As part of the Learning Center of Excellence (LCOE), the Operations Trainer plays a critical role in preparing new and existing employees to perform their work safely, efficiently, and with high quality. You will deliver engaging training through classroom instruction, simulations, and hands‑on learning, ensuring employees gain the skills and confidence needed to succeed on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct new hire orientation, onboarding classes and On‑the‑job Training.
• Operate and maintain the Training Center to simulate real production processes and provide hands‑on practice.
• Deliver required Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) training in alignment with OSHA regulations and ISO standards.
• Deliver quality training such as Standard work (JDS), defect detection, QCP, etc.
• Train and certify new and current employees in Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV), Cranes, and Aerial Lift for licensing.
• Train and certify new and current employees on how to operate their workstation in accordance with standards (JDS).
• Maintain accurate training records for all courses and certifications.
• Follow up with new employees during their first 30 days to ensure successful transition to their roles.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of work experience at Electrolux.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.

Basic knowledge of EMS tools, and continuous improvement concepts required.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring others, whether inside or outside the workplace.

Excellent communication skills and strong comfort speaking in front of groups.
