Job summary

Electrolux Group is seeking an Operations Trainer within the Learning Center of Excellence to prepare new and existing employees for safe, efficient, and high-quality work on the production floor.

You will deliver engaging training through classroom instruction, simulations, and hands-on learning, covering onboarding, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site in Springfield, TN.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of work experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort speaking in front of groups.
• Basic knowledge of EMS tools and continuous improvement concepts.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs supporting onboarding, safety, and operational excellence.
• Operate and maintain a Training Center to simulate production processes.
• Provide hands-on training and ensure employees gain required skills and confidence.
• Deliver EHS&S training in alignment with OSHA regulations and ISO standards.
• Train and certify employees in Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV), Cranes, and Aerial Lift for licensing.
• Maintain accurate training records for all courses and certifications.
• Follow up with new employees during their first 30 days to ensure successful transition.

All about the role:

As part of the Learning Center of Excellence (LCOE), the Operations Trainer plays a critical role in preparing new and existing employees to perform their work safely, efficiently, and with high quality. You will deliver engaging training through classroom instruction, simulations, and hands‑on learning, ensuring employees gain the skills and confidence needed to succeed on the production floor.

What you’ll do:

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering key training programs that support onboarding, safety, and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding classes.
• Operate and maintain the Training Center to simulate real production processes and provide hands‑on practice.
• Deliver required Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) training in alignment with OSHA regulations and ISO standards.
• Deliver quality training such as Standard work (JDS), defect detection, QCP, etc.
• Train and certify new and current employees in Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV), Cranes, and Aerial Lift for licensing.
• Maintain accurate training records for all courses and certifications.
• Follow up with new employees during their first 30 days to ensure successful transition to their roles.

Who you are:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of work experience
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
