Job summary

Job Description

Under the direction of the Associate Supervisor, the Manufacturing Operator III sets up and operates manufacturing equipment associated with material fabrication.

Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Operate various equipment including, but not limited to rolling, milling, slitting, melting furnaces (solder casting), annealing furnaces, wire equipment, 2 Hi and 4 Hi cold/hot rolling machines, various saws, degreasers, and parts cleaners.
• Must be proficient using micrometers, calipers and measuring instruments.
• Roll to tolerances as close as +/- .0001, measuring thickness with a micrometer.
• Monitor and check product to maintain inventory levels and adherence to customer requirements for quality.
• Interfaces with Process Engineering as needed.
• Collect data and maintain various charts and all paperwork as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one-year equivalent manufacturing experience.

Pay Range:

$22.00 - $31.00

Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
