Job summary

Jobtailor in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a manufacturing technician to prepare machines for production, set tooling and parameters per work orders, and operate basic equipment.

You will inspect parts for defects, discard defective items, and assist maintenance to prevent downtime. Safety and PPE use are required, with English instruction comprehension.

This role requires a high school diploma and ability to read measuring instruments; power tools experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parameter setting according to work order information
• Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes
• Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol
• Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
