Job description

The Manufacturing Operator II is responsible for operating, cleaning, disassembling, and reassembling granulation equipment such as low and high shear mixers, mills, and fluid bed dryers, in compliance with cGMPs and SOPs. The role involves rotating to different Manufacturing or Packaging departments based on business needs. This is a safety-sensitive, third-shift position.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Proficient operation, disassembly, assembly, and cleaning of equipment.
• Completing Skills Inventory and operating equipment in other departments.
• Using computer systems to review and train on SOPs, participate in scheduling, and handle departmental metrics.
• Building productive relationships across the organization and working independently or as part of a team.
• Adhering to safety, health, and environmental policies.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent education, training, or experience considered.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, biochemical, or food manufacturing environment (3-5 years).
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and occasionally move drums weighing up to 300 lbs, work safely with heavy equipment, and wear PPE as required.
