Job summary

Continental Resources, Inc. is seeking an Operator I to oversee daily operation and maintenance for a group of oil and gas wells in Watford City, ND. You will develop entry-level lease operator skills with mentored training and perform routine production checks and reporting.

This full-time role requires driving to sites, working nights/weekends, and adhering to CLR standards while supporting production optimization and equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
  • Ability to pass a respiratory fit test, if applicable.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
  • Acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily operational checks of assigned wells and production facilities.
  • Measures and records production accurately.
  • Prepares, maintains, and submits daily production reports.
  • Identifies and communicates changes in well performance.
  • Conducts production tests using standard operating procedures.
  • Performs minor equipment repairs or communicates needed maintenance.
  • Witnesses purchasers, gauges, and tests for accuracy.
  • Maintains lease site upkeep (fences, signs, weeds, trash).

The Operator I will develop entry-level lease operator skills including facility operation, day-to-day lease operator tasks and CLR standards.
