Job summary

Danos is hiring a Lease Operator in Carlsbad, NM, to monitor, optimize, and maintain oil and gas production wells on a rotational schedule. You will ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment while supporting Health, Environment, and Safety processes.

Responsibilities include daily site monitoring by vehicle, equipment testing and calibration, and completing required paperwork. Physical demands and safety responsibilities are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Lease Operator experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
• Physical requirements include lifting 40 lbs, climbing ladders and stairs, and wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.
• Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.
• Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatory agencies.
• General housekeeping and field maintenance.

Overview

As a Lease Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining oil and gas production and injection wells on a rotational schedule. You will ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment, support Health, Environment, and Safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can beexpected.
• Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (withelectronicpump-off controller), plunger lift, waterinjection,and waterdisposal.
• Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodicprotectionand metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).
• Jobis to be performed byemploying safe work practices whileutilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producingproperties.
