Job summary

Paligen Technologies, Inc. in Garland, TX is seeking a hands-on technician to operate furnace lines, inspect parts, and input data into the CIMA system to support labor reporting and part tracking.

You will work in a high-speed production environment handling parts up to 50 lbs, reading SOIs, and performing SPC reporting while maintaining logs and following safety requirements. This role requires accuracy, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and commitment to equal opportunity

Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to use all gauges and instruments required to related job tasks.
• Functional math skills required to complete job tasks, communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle parts weighing up to fifty (50) lbs and heavier parts with power devices.
• Must have normal vision or correctable to perform job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate furnace on the Bomb lines.
• Check parts and review quality to pre-determine standards.
• Read SOIs and follow instructions.
• Input data into CIMA system for labor reporting and part tracking.
• Perform SPC reporting as required.
• Maintain accurate logbooks.
• Work with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to set up and operate either furnace on the Bomb lines
• Check parts and review quality to pre-determine standards.
• Knowledge and ability to read SOI’s and follow.
• Responsible for inputting data into CIMA system for accurate labor reporting and part tracking.
• SPC reporting as required.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate logbooks.
• Knowledge and ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Elevated temperatures, thick smoke, dirt and grease.
• Physically able to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Handling materials up to 900 degrees with proper tools.
• High-paced production environment to meet standards.
